Initialize page counters in Smart formBy Prasanna, Infosys Introduction: Resetting the page counter to 1
whenever you call to the page defined as “Initialize Counter” Step
1: Create a Smart form “ZINI_COUNTER”
through transaction “SMARTFORMS” Then initial screen will be displayed
as below Step
2: Create a page with name as
“FIRST”. In general Attributes tab of page
“FIRST” choose “Initialize Counter” Under mode as highlighted below Step
3: Create a “HEADER” text with under
main window with the details as specified below Save and Activate the Smart form. Now Execute the Smart form. Step
4: A popup will be displayed with print
parameters. Specify the output device as “LOCL” And choose print preview
Step
5: The output will be displayed as below. First page contains the information as
shown below Observe
the page number for the second page. The page
number is 1 only for the second page also as we specified “Initialize
counter” in Page attributes.
