SAP CE7.2 Server Installation & Configuration (NWDS7.2 installation included)

In this article, we will be looking at how to configure SLD to a CE Server using Netweaver Administration (NWA), creating JCo Destinations for Web Dynpro Adaptive RFC Models and also configuring NWDS with CE7.2 server.

SAP PORTAL SERVER INSTALLATION

Pre-Requisites:

            Hardware:

            1)  At least 2GB Ram and lot of disk space.

            2)  4075 MB of page file. (Google on how to change the page file for you OS)

            Software:

            1) JCE (Java Cryptography Extension) downloads from Sun network site.

1)       Download the 90day evaluation of CE72(Composite Environment) from the SAP Website.

2)       Start the installation located at  ...\CE7.2 Server\installer\sapinst.exe

Installation will start in few seconds.

You will navigate through five options.

1.       Choose Option

2.       Define Parameters

3.       Summary

4.       Execute

5.       Completed.

1)  Choose Option

2)   Choose Server  as the option and click Next

3) Define Parameters

4) Scroll down and Choose “I Accept” for 90 day evaluation and Click Next.
