Replicate select option functionality

This document explains, how to create a function module with select option functionality

Steps to be followed

1.     Create a function group

2.     Create a function module

3.     Create structure for fields which are going to be used as select option in function module

4.     Assign the structures to the function module

5.     Run the function module

6.     Output


Transaction SE37 -> Create function group

Give the function group name and short text

Assign it to a package and transport Request


Transaction SE37 ->Create Function Module

Give function group name and short text

Created function module has the following tabs like attributes, import, export, etc.

In Import tab, give the field name as  PLANT, this filed will work as a parameter


Now create structure for the fields, which are going to be used as select option in function module

In SE11 give the structure name and create it


Component -> SIGN, OPTION, LOW, HIGH.

In component type column assign the required field (BUDAT) against LOW and HIGH

2.ZMATNR1 ->Material Number
