F4 help for date and time fields in Module pool programming

Here are the steps and sample code to provide F4 help for the date and time fields in module pool programming.

Steps:

1.     Create sample module pool program, having date and time fields on screen. Let’s say we have created program with the fields Created date (IO_DATE) for date and created time (IO_TIME) for time as below.

2.     Double click on the input out field for the created date.

3.     The screen painter attribute window will appear. Change the format (from the Dict. tab) to the DATS as below.

4.     Similarly change the format of the field IO_TIME to TIMS, as below.
