ABAP Test Cockpit - Restricting Transports on Errors
By Mavee Solutions
This blog is to explain on the settings required to
restrict transports on ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit) errors.
For the demo purpose, let us do the following settings in
the transaction ATC:
Go To ATC Administration -> Setup -> Configure ATC
Here we have the Behavior on Release as “Inform on
errors”. With this setting, the ATC checks transports and informs users, but
users can still transport objects that have priority 1 or 2 errors.
Let us test the same. Go to transaction SE09 and click on
Expand the requests.
Do “Check Objects”. You would get the popup screen with
the number of messages in the ATC Checks. In this case, there is 1 message in
the ATC Checks.
Though there is an ATC message, the transport requests can
be released without any problems.
