How to ensure that JavaScript is enabled:

For instructions, click the link for your browser:

• Internet Explorer 9.0
• Internet Explorer 7.0 and 8.0
• Internet Explorer 6.0
• Firefox
• Google Chrome
• Safari

Internet Explorer 9.0:

1. Launch Internet Explorer.
2. On the browser's menu bar, select Tools | Manage Add-ons.

Note: If you don't see a menu bar with "File," "Edit," "View," etc., then click the gear icon in the upper right corner and select Manage add-ons.

3. Ensure the menu at the top reflects Show: Currently loaded add-ons.
4. Select J2SE Runtime Environment or Java within the main pane, and at the bottom-right of the Manage Add-ons window.
5. Click Enable.
6. Click close.
7. Close and relaunch your Internet browser.

Internet Explorer 7.0 and 8.0:

1. Launch Internet Explorer.
2. On the browser's menu bar, select Tools | Internet Options.
3. Select the Security tab.
4. Click Internet to select the Internet Zone.
5. Click Custom Level.
6. Scroll down the list until you see the section labeled Scripting
7. Select Enable for Active Scripting scroll down the list and select Scripting of Java Applets.
8. Click OK.
9. If prompted to confirm select Yes
10. Click the OK button at the bottom of the Internet Options window.
11. Close and relaunch your Internet browser.

Internet Explorer 6.0:

1. Launch Internet Explorer.
2. On the browser's menu bar, select Tools | Internet Options.
3. Select the Security tab.
4. Click Internet to select the Internet Zone.
5. Click Custom Level.
6. Scroll down the list until you see the section labeled Scripting
7. Under Active Scripting, select Enable.
8. Click the OK button at the bottom of the Internet Options window.
9. Close and relaunch your Internet browser.

Firefox:

1. Launch the Firefox browser.
2. On the browser's menu bar, select Tools | Options.
3. Select the Content tab.
4. Select both the Enable JavaScript and Enable Java options.
5. Click OK.
6. Close and relaunch your Internet browser.

Google Chrome:

Note: JavaScript is enabled in Chrome by default. This command resets the browser's default parameters.

• Launch Google Chrome from Start/Run with the parameter -enable-JavaScript.
  • For example, in Vista:
    C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe -enable-JavaScript
  • For example, in Windows XP:
    C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome -enable-JavaScript

Safari:

1. Launch the Safari browser.
2. Go to Preferences:
   • Mac: Select Safari | Preferences, on the browser's menu bar.
   • PC: Select Edit | Preferences, on the browser's menu bar.
3. Click Security.
4. Select the Enable JavaScript option.
5. Click OK.
6. Close and relaunch your Internet browser.
